When you've searched the library catalog and find that we do not own the book or movie, etc., that you're looking for, you may request that BCLS try to borrow a copy via a service we call "InterLibrary Loan" (ILL). ILL is a service provided by libraries around the world that allows libraries to share materials for the benefit of their patrons. Through this service, you have the ability to borrow books, movies or documentaries on DVD, music on CD, videogames, newspapers on microfilm, and magazine or journal articles from another library collection.
To request an item that BCLS does not hold in our system, you may submit an Interlibrary Loan request. For information and fees regarding this service, please visit the following page: http://www.bcls.lib.nj.us/interlibrary-loan
If you think the library should own a copy of the item and it is a newly published or released title, please complete a "Suggest for Purchase" form, found at http://www.bcls.lib.nj.us/suggest-purchase-0.
